On October 17, 2026, the seventh day of Sharad Navratri, The House of Shubhashish hosted its Navratri Dandiya Utsav at Shubhashish Forest on One SEZ Road, Jaipur, welcoming guests for an evening devoted to the spirit of the festival.
Navratri has a special place in Indian culture. For nine nights, devotees worship Goddess Durga and celebrate the divine feminine power, or Shakti. The occasion is marked by prayers, fasting, music, traditional dances, and more.
Among these, Garba and Dandiya are perhaps the most familiar ways people celebrate the festival across India, bringing people together through music, colour and the rhythm of the dandiya sticks. Here are some highlights from the evening.
The rhythmic click-clack of dandiya sticks filled the air. Moreover, swirling lehengas in incandescent shades of multicolor blurred into festive lights, while the heavy jingle of oxidized silver jewelry competed with the infectious laughter of dancers, raising the festive spirit of Navratri to Shubhashish Forest.
Whether seasoned dancers or first-timers finding their footing, everyone moved to the same heartbeat. It was a space where laughter flowed as freely as the music, turning individual guests into a closely knit celebration of community.
Beyond Dandiya, the gathering included snacks and dinner, offering guests time to enjoy conversations and festive hospitality. Guests also took part in a quiz on Shubhashish High Street Plaza, a commercial and retail development by The House of Shubhashish.

The combination of traditional dance and shared moments made the Navratri celebration in Jaipur a special occasion for everyone involved.
Garba and Dandiya traditions have long been associated with community participation. What began as traditional expressions of devotion has continued across generations, bringing families and neighbours together during Navratri. Today, these customs are celebrated not only in temples and public grounds but also within modern residential communities.
The Navratri Dandiya Utsav at Shubhashish Forest reflected this connection between tradition and contemporary community living. The event brought customers, their families and invited guests together in a setting designed around greenery, open spaces and shared experiences. It was a chance to enjoy a familiar Indian tradition while spending time with others associated with the Shubhashish community.
Such community celebrations add a meaningful social dimension to residential living. While homes and amenities shape the physical environment of a neighbourhood, shared gatherings encourage interaction and familiarity among people. At Shubhashish Forest, the Dandiya Utsav brought this aspect of community life into focus through an evening rooted in Indian culture.
As the Navratri Dandiya Utsav came to a close, it left behind memories of traditional music, colourful attire, dance and time spent together. The evening reflected the enduring appeal of Navratri, a festival whose customs continue to bring people together across generations and changing lifestyles.
For The House of Shubhashish, it was a privilege to host the Dandiya celebration in Jaipur. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our valued customers, families and guests who joined us and made the occasion so special.
The gathering at Shubhashish Forest was another reminder that the joy of community living extends beyond homes and shared spaces. It also grows through the traditions we honour, the occasions we celebrate and the memories we create together.
